Blood Moon - November 2022

This is a single shot of the moon in November of 2022. From our location the clouds just parted as the moon enters totality. Fun fact, the reddish color during totality is a phenomenon called Rayleigh scattering. It is the same mechanism responsible for causing colorful sunrises and sunsets, and for the sky to look blue.
